Bio

I graduated from Memphis State University with a BS in Education and I graduated from Arkansas State University with a MS in Communicative Disorders. This is my 24th year as a speech-language pathologist. I have worked in Early Invervention in homes, Developmentally Delayed Preschool, Hearing Impaired, School Based Speech Therapy, Nursing Homes and Home Health. I have enjoyed each placement as a therapist, but my love is children.

I am married to a great guy named Rick,  and we have four children, each of them has been a guinea pig for different activities and therapy ideas. They will tell you, it has been very interesting growing up with a speech therapist as a mom and sometimes frustrating when they didn't use their words correctly. My children have been an inspiration to me, as well as great practice, since two of them required P.E. tubes for recurring ear infections, and they had many distorted and omitted sounds.
