English Language Instructor (2017)

  • Instructor for two courses in the Intensive English Program (IEP) at the Universtiy of Mississippi. Classes taught were Reading and World Cultures.

Teaching Assisstant (2016-2017)

  • Teaching Assistant for the Service Learning Initiative at the University of Mississippi where I worked with 3rd-4th graders at a local elementary school in Oxford, MS.

Community ESL Instructor (2015-2017)

  • Volunteer instructor for the Community ESL (CESL) program at the University of Mississippi. Students ranged from university level well into adulthood.


I am half Italian. My father was originally from Caltagirone, Sicily.

I was born in Huntsville, AL, but moved to Hattiesburg, MS as a baby where I spent the first 18 years of my life. After graduating high school, I moved to Oxford, MS to attend The University of Mississippi, where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with and emphasis in International Relations, as well as minors in Italian and Japanese, and my Master's Degree in TESOL and Applied Linguistics
