ELA:   **identify character reponses to major events in a story (how a character acts, speaks, thinks, or feels)

         **identify the character's point of view

         **identify story structure (the beginning, middle, and end)

         **answer who, what, where, when, why, and how questions about a fiction story

         **deterime the central message or lesson in a story

         **use and identify reflexive pronouns (himself, herself, myself, itself, yourself, ourselves, themselves, yourselves)

          **writing biographies-We will be editing and revising our research.


Spelling Words:  (review week) school, road, talk, should, guess, too, right, would, try, could, know, only, fruit, guide, touch, people, wishes, high, heart, quite  ***There will be a spelling test on Friday.


Vocabulary Words:  stunned, genius, chaos, notorious, routine, expert, fade, flap


Math:  **measure lengths of objects to the nearest inch or centimeter and record the data on a line plot

            **solve one-step addition and subtraction word problems involving length

            *****There will be a math quiz on Friday.  No fact fluency quiz this week.

**February 15-no school for students

**February 18-Presidents' Day-no school

**February 22-PTA Hat/PJ Day

**February 25 and 28-MAP testing-Please no early checkouts if possible.

**February 26-last day to order a Memory Maker t-shirt in honor of Mrs. Wendy Myers and to help fund new playground expansion



**There are no checkouts after 2:00.

**Wear tennis shoes on Friday for P.E.
