Reading: Fiction and Narrative Nonfiction Skills: Making connections ask and answer questions to demonstrate understanding, central message, inferences, and character traits

Science: Communities

English: Complete and incomplete sentences and four types of sentences (declarative, interrogative, imperative, exclamatory)

Writing: Narrative writing

Math Vocabulary Words

factor: numbers we can multiply together to get another number:

product: The answer when two or more numbers are multiplied together

Example: 2 and 3 are factors of 6

dividend: a number to be divided by another number

divisor: the number you divide by

quotient: a result obtained by dividing one quantity by another

Example: dividend ÷ divisor = quotient

Reading Vocabulary Words

whiz: move very fast

squirm: wiggle or twist your body from side to side because of boredom and uncomfortableness

rap: tap or hit sharply

snap: speak sharply or angrily

likely: something that will probably happen

unlikely: something that will probably not happen
