Our new unit we are beginning this week is called “A Long Journey to Freedom.” Over the next several weeks we will be discussing slavery, the civil rights movement, and what it means to be free. This is a fabulous unit, the kids are already excited about it! It is a great opportunity for all of us to realize how blessed we are to be free!
