I moved from Arizona to Mississippi with my family in 2012, and we discovered Hernando purely by accident.  For that I am eternally grateful!  It has been a huge adjustment for all of us, but we have come to call Hernando home.  I feel blessed to have been invited to be a part of the Hernando Hills Elementary School family, and I have cherished the years I have spent here.  I am looking forward to many more!

I have been happily married to my amazing husband for the past 19 years.  We have 2 children who have filled our lives with joy and wonder.  My son, Alec graduated from Hernando High School last year and is currently attending Northwest MS Community College.  His plans to transfer to State so that he can complete their film program and become a famous director.  Jenna is a senior at HHS.  She is a member of the National Honor Society, Interact, Prom Promise, and Key Club.  She is also one of the amazingly talented HHS cheerleaders, and has been on the cheer squad throughout her entire high school career.  She plans to study Engineering and Business next year at a University yet to be determined.

The 2022/23 school year is my 8th year teaching here at Hernando Hills Elementary School.  My goal for my students this year is for them to find a love of reading and to leave my class with a journal full of ideas to write about.  Each day I promise to try my hardest to be the best for your child.  We are going to have a lot of fun and work hard in my classroom!  I am so excited to work with each individual student this year and get to know them.  I am ready for an outstanding year!  Thank you for letting me teach your child!
