About the Teacher
I am happily married to Kevin Burns, who is a Chief on the Memphis Fire Department. We have been married for 14 years and live in Hernando. This is my 26th year to teach and 24 of those years have been in 2nd grade in Desoto County. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Science Degree in Curriculum Instruction from Mississippi State University.

Social Studies: learn about different Native American tribes

Vocabulary Words: numerous, recreation, shelter, necessary, dull, solid, mushy, slurp ***There will be a vocabulary test on Friday.
Math: **solve one-step addition and subtraction word problems
**add and subtract 2-digit numbers with and without regrouping
