**write informative pieces on animals

Vocabulary Words: numerous, recreation, shelter, necessary, dull, solid, mushy, slurp ***There will be a spelling test on Friday.
Math: **skip count by 2s, 5s, 10s, and 100s
**count within 1,000
**mentally add and subtract 10 and 100 to any given number to 900***There will be a math test and a fact fluency quiz on Friday.

About the Teacher
I am happily married to Kevin Burns, who is a Chief on the Memphis Fire Department. We have been married for 15 years and live in Hernando. This is my 27th year to teach and 25 of those years have been in 2nd grade in Desoto County. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Science Degree in Curriculum Instruction from Mississippi State University.
