Education

University of Mississippi 2004 (Bachelor of Arts in Education)

Hernando Hills Elementary School 2010-present (3rd Grade Teacher)

Hernando Elementary School 2004-2006 (2nd Grade Teacher)

I am married to a wonderful man named Brian, and we will celebrate our 20th anniversary on November 3. We are blessed with two awesome children: Bernadette (19) and Stone (15). Bernie is a freshman at NWCC, and Stone is a freshman at Hernando High School.

Besides being dedicated to education, I am also dedicated to fitness and healthy living. I am group fitness instructor at EDGE FITNESS in Hernando and DAC Southaven. My family and I love staying active. Outside of school you will see us at the gym, on a soccer or ball field, or running a few miles around town.

Every nine week period there will be a PBIS party.

Green – Great Day!

Yellow – Walk 5 minutes at recess

Orange- Walk 10 minutes at recess

Red - Walk 20 minutes at recess, contact parent by phone or note

After 3 reds- office referral (offenses noted & action plan made)

Parent Portal  

Desoto County School District is pleased to make it possible for parents to access their child’s academic progress and attendance through the Internet. Desoto County School District believes this kind of access will improve parent and teacher communication as well as student responsibility. Parents may view schedules, progress reports, report cards, attendance, and grade book.  You will be able review your child’s grades and attendance from any computer that has internet accessibility. 

 

To sign up for Parent Portal access we will need to verify that you are the parent or guardian of the child in question.  To do this we will need a copy of a valid photo ID returned with the completed Parental Use and Responsibility Acknowledgement Form
