Education:

I graduated with my bachelors degree in Elementary Education from William Carey College in 2002.

I obtained my National Board Certification and my Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Mississippi College.

Experience:

I began my teaching career in Lumberton, MS teaching 2nd grade.  I moved to north MS and began teaching at Greenbrook Elementary in Southaven, MS.  I transferred to Hernando Hills when it opened and taught 3rd and 2nd grade.  After teaching 10 years, I decided to take time off with my two small children, but returned to HHES in 2016 as the PE teacher.  After teaching PE for several years, I made a move back to the classroom in 2020. 

I am educator through and through.  I love children and I love to see them grow and learn. I work extremely hard to create a classroom community that is inviting, warm, and engaging. I focus on seeing the best in one another as we strive for big goals.
